Jim's raft apparently flipped today on the North Fork Nehalem. They're looking for him now...raft was found upside down...apparently a new tree down...don't know any more details yet...

We fished the NF and as we were leaving this afternoon around 4 there was quite a bunch of sheriffs staging at the hatchery, they had a few rafts and looked like they were going to be doing a rescue.

I do not know any more than what has been said. I will post as soon as I know more. I have had several emails asking. The last word I got, it did not look good, but damm that Jim, you never know. He might be seating on the bank some where trying to decide what kind of a story to tell us. You can bet it will be a g ood one. If he does not make it, you can bet he will have a hell of a story to tell St. Peter at the golden gates. Were with you Jim.

how far down was he when he flipped ?? that area is very accesible at least and I would think a watter escue would be very fast..I really hope all is ok and we just havent heard hopefully he is sitting some place warm drinking some coffee talking about one heck of a story. he is a great guy and hopefully someone will post soon to tell us all is well.. I'll be waiting with the rest of you......

I seen Jim today as he left the hatchery and said hi. There was one other person in the raft with him when they passed me. He is a legend
