Easy “No Fuss” Pork Back Ribs
Sometimes you just want good ribs without farting around with the smoker!
  1. Recently on sale at Costco and FM for 1.99/lb
  2. Pat ribs dry with paper towels
  3. Remove silver skin from inside the ribs using a butter knife and paper towel.
  4. Lay ribs on cookie sheet lined with foil.
  5. Heat oven to 350F
  6. Smear 3-4 tablespoons of olive oil on both sides of the ribs. 7-8 TBSP total
  7. Mix 2-3 tsp Memphis BBQ rub, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp black pepper, cayenne pepper to taste, and 2tsp paprika together in a small bowl, then sprinkle on BOTH sides of ribs.
  8. Place ribs “meat side up” in 350F oven for 2 hours.
  9. Take ribs out of oven, turn oven up to 450F
  10. Slather your favorite BBQ sauce on meat side of ribs and sides of ribs with silicone brush.
  11. Put ribs back in 450 oven for 10 minutes
  12. After 10 minutes, turn heat up to high broil for 3 minutes for a bit of char
  13. After 3 minutes under broiler, remove ribs to cooling rack until cool enough to eat. Perfect. Add a bit of sauce for Dipping.
  14. Roll up foil carefully and toss for easy, peasy cleanup.
