How come I hear no one talking about drifting the upper East fork? Like up above Lewisville park. Is it that zipper lip or what? I know of some nice water up there. Is it off limits to boats or something?
(diftin it at and around winter steelhead time)

KF85. I think the main reason you never hear anyone drifting the upper EF is because there are no boat ramps up there. I've heard that there may be a landowner up there that has a ramp on his property(heresay only) but you have to know him to use it.

The other reason that I've heard is because it is really tricky water to navigate and only for very experienced drifters.

That's what I've heard at least.

Steve

It is really low right now, an inner tube wouldn't even be much fun. Jigs and eggs with no weight might be the ticket.

You talkin from Heisson Bridge to Lewisville Park?
That's a death zone, several experts have tried and lost their boats in the process. Be smart and don't try it !!
