Duncan either invented or help develop Oregon moist pellet, fish protein concentrate(fish flour) Surimi and fish sausage. He also help establish the Young's Bay Net Pen Program and the Seafood Consumer Center. I had the pleasure of working with Duncan back in the 80s. He loved Astoria and received many awards from his beloved community over the years. The Coho that we catch in Astoria we can thank him and the net pen program for most of them. Rest in Peace my friend.
