Drahthaar??? German for, Wirehair. VDD = Verin Deutsch Drahthaar, Real German Wirehair.

If you are actually looking for a DD I would talk to Paul Trout at Vom Orion. He breeds nice dogs, and is deep in the VDD group. If you are looking for a German Wirehair (same dog, Different strain in my opinion) you won’t do any better than Bone Point in Baker City. Both of those breeders would be good to talk to whatever you ultimately decide you want.

Just saw a few of the Bachman Bay Kennels' German Wirehairs at the Willamette Valley NAVDHA NA test and they were real lookers. I believe he's out of Hines, OR.

This is my trainer’s bonepoint dog, he took second at Nastra nationals this year. Highest a gwp has ever placed.

There’s a really nice finished 3 year old bone point dog that’s got great house manners that’s I just heard about today for 4k, which is a steal. The owner can’t hunt anymore due to a stroke.
