Don\'t Have Crabs

Can anyone out there let me know about crabbing out of Hammond this time of the year ? I am thinking about going down this Thurs. ~ Sat. but never been down there in the early spring, I usually hit it in the fall.
If anyone has been give me a heads up !

I was there 2 weeks ago and managed 29 crab for 2 hours effort. The crab were mostly full but you will find a lot of females. Worth the effort especially if the weather is good :cheers:

Dave,
We crabbed Hammond on Sunday. It was a gorgeous day and we ended up with 60 crabbies.

It took us a little over two pulls with our pots which is more than normal but it was still good. We used shad and chicken!

We cooked them up at the coast and feasted! :dance:
