I'm afraid of the answer, but gotta ask the question-- is there any RV camping available at Detroit?

State Park campground is closed for an indefinite period while they do repairs from the fires. Maybe the Hoover campground at the upper end of the lake is open?

Does anyone have an idea of when the Detroit Lake state park might re-open?

I talked to them several months ago, after the fire, and it sounded like the park was pretty much unscathed. They had lost there water supply and were working to restore it.

They are opening now. Nothing reservable yet, just a “soft” opening.
