Haven't fished it before. I'm going tomorrow morning. I live in Molalla and don't want to drive to far, so that's why my pick is Davis bar. What I am planning is using my new boat and setting anchor about 45' with 5X5 rigging with alvin's. Do I have a good percentage with this set up to get into some fall salmon?

Typical setup and should work, but if your fishing more than one rod, I would try an 8-9 foot drop line. Good luck. Also look for channels the fish are running with your depth finder.

You might plan on trolling until about 11 or so, when the tide should start flowing hard enough to make a difference.
