A quick observation and a question.

As of this afternoon Bonneville Dam shows no shad numbers on their website...The Dalles, John Day and McNary all are posting numbers of shad over their ladders as of today.

Are the nice folks at the Bonneville fish ladders not going to count shad this year...or am I mising something?

It's been suggested that maybe they are going through the locks? Maybe the new Washington fish ladder hasn't got it together yet?

these are new improved stealth shad. They can burrow under the dam, thus going by undetected. That's just my theory

Come on guys, haven't you heard of the new "Black Helicopter Shad" That way they don't need no stinking fish ladders and no one will see them flying over the dams. :wink:
