Spent a full incoming tide on Yaquina Saturday, from the dogleg in the north jetty up to the tank. Legal males were scarce, and a goodly percentage of those were recently molted. Didn't see anybody doing any better. 6 hours, 6 traps and rings, 8 keepers. Really slow! Great fun, though. Beats yard work any day. The sea lions are back, in abundance. Good luck!
