Was down at the zipper lipped bay by Newport for a couple of days. Did good one day crabbing then the next could not buy a crab. The clamming was good ended up with limits of gapers both days we dug clams. Can not wait for that first big pot of clam chowder. Nothing better than a trip to the coast with the family and being able to dig clams and go crabbing too.

I went clamming once down at Newport, around the bridge. We did'nt take long to get a bunch of them. I need to go again now that I know how to make killer chowder.

With the red tides in OR and WA, they're talking like there's not even going to be a razor season this year if the domoic acid levels don't go down!
