I have one of those very rare weekday mornings off. This never happens so I am at a loss of where to go fishing. I did well in CR but that was several weeks ago and I have not had a chance to fish since. Any one with some hints or advice willing to share??

Our experience is that the action is slowing on the Columbia, while this period can be a peak time on the MultChannel.

Looking at Weds tides for St.Helens and allowing for a seat-of-the-pants correction of +45 minutes for Coon Island: low slack will be about 5:50AM, then AM high tide at 9:15. So with an early start you could catch the early low slack bite, then also catch the tide-turn bite 4 hours later.

Once the tide is running out and if the Channel isn't producing enough you could go out to the Columbia and anchor-up where the outgoing tide will have your Kfish working nicely all day.
