We got out on Sunday am. Ran to #1 on the black line, got two keepers with a few nates. It was windy, choppie and a northern drift. Not very fun, so we ran south to the CR bouy where the bite was very spottie. about 3:1 nates to clips.
Ended up about 5 mi. S of CR in about 200' of water the bite was slow at best. We got nine and needed 12. 1 pm we ran for the bar when the fog set in. wind chop and about 200 yd vis. The fog lifted as soon as we hit bouy #10. Lots of people got caught ouside without a clue how to get in. The CG chopper was out spotting boats from the air and trying to assist. One boat asked for an escort in and the reply was that they were responsible for their own navigation. Hope he made it in??? Be careful, keep your bearings and always trust you compas.
