Every morning I have traveled over the I-205 bridge since it opened up there have been a small line of boats at the upper end of Gov. Island. Usually 5 to 10 boats. There are often a few scattered down the island also. Don't konw if they are catching any but they are there. :shrug:
I would hold off on the Chinook Landing area, and head down to the lower river. I have a few buddies who have tried around Chinoook a couple of times with zip. :shrug: It looks like best fishing for this area will be in April.

Fish checker at Chinook Landing had seen 1 fish by 12:30. There was talk of one more in a boat that had not come off the water yet. I talked to one other guy who had a takedown, but no stick. There were a lot of trailers in the lot for that kind of action. In my opinion time is better spent where you can target the Willie fish as well. Just my $0.02
