Anybody actually bringing anything in... I mean really good fishing? I spoke to the fish and game volunteer yesterday at the ramp and he said sine 8am that day the count was 10 fish for 70 boats. I was skunked as well. I didn't even get a bleep on the fish finder all evening.. Neighbor caught two at the mouth of the kalama trolling in half hours. Anyone else?

I fished out of port of Kalama yesterday. 5 fish on, one more drive by, 3 to the boat, one lost to a seal, more fish on the scanner than I care to count. Two rods in the afternoon, three in the morning. And yes, I am sure they were salmon on the ff, I know what to look for. We came in after the checker left. Good bite at each tide change. Scattered fish during the day. Best bite in the evening, after everybody had left.

Folks, there are at least 3000 to 5000 fish a day swimming by any given point in the lower Columbia river right now. The temperature is coming up, might be time to change tactics. I see hardware in my future...
