Just got home and the bite was off..Fished from 6o am till 6o pm and I didn't see anything out of 20 boats.Fished upper end of goverment island.Very slow!!

The Columbia River water temperature is 72 degrees. This has got to effect the Salmon fishing.

Went out today. Only thing caught was a sun tan

Guy above us got one, and lost one.

Cops, and the coasties were out in force today.

Been fishing 1/2 mile above the 205 bridge last couple of days and have seen only a few salmon caught in our hog line , 1 or 2 total for the whole day among all the boats. Very slow fishing. Better days and colder water is coming.
We had a record day out past buoy 10 last week. hooked well over 50 fish. biggest about 55 lbs. Go west young man, go west :smile: :shocked:

fished the wing dam above gov.iland yesterday

from 5:30am to 1:30pm about 7 boats there. :depressed: No fish! At the launch the checker said he had counted only 1 fish :depressed: slow!

I wonder how the Gillnetters did ? Are the fish there but not biting OR ?
