With spring chinook salmon run up 30% at Bonneville Dam, more fishing days added on lower Columbia River

Oregon and Washington biologists authorized 23 more fishing days for spring chinook on the lower Columbia River, beginning Thursday.

That’s awesome, have pics of the fish? I hear if people catching coho in the Willy quite often fishing for bass but never hear if nooks caught. Hear about them being caught while Shad fishing all the time.

Wonder if the guy was upset thinking he had a record size bass only to realize it’s a dumb salmon 😂. I know I get upset when I hook into a sturgeon while salmon fishing.

He seemed pretty happy when I talked with him.
