Im headin to bouy 10 all next week an will attempt the Ocean if weather permits,, I cant find any clear info on the boundrys :shrug: on this zone (Columbia river control zone) as in bouy's, markers ect. can anyone help?....also what bouy is called the spark plug? any help would be appreacited...Thanks Dave

The control zone is very accurately described in the ODFW book. It uses a combination of buoys, jetty ends and latitude and longitude. It's cryptic, but here's a picture.



Not sure, but the CR buoy is called 'spark plug' because that's what it kinda looks like. It's labeled on the chart as:

RW 'CR' Fl 2.5s strobe Mo(A)

Red and White named CR with a strobe light flashing Morse Code "A" every 2.5 seconds. A slow spark plug, but I can see the connection.

Thank you pitch pocket,,, :bowdown: Ya found it on page 88 ,,geesh if it wasa snake it woulda bit me....I was lookin on the ODFW web site,, under the salmon seasons an reg's an that map isnt good @ all....thanks again!
