How did the bankies do this weekend? I was talked out of going there in favor of Sauvi Island, only to get out there and discover we had the whole thing to ourselves- good reason too, as a call to odf informed us it was closed. d'oh

Headed to the Sandy to regroup-- fished 5 hours, no fish..good flow and color though

Then headed to Rooster Rock... figured maybe a walleye would bite.. nope

Fernridge Res held no fish on Saturday either--

needless to say.. im jonesing for a freaking fish-

Snowball, took out at Meldrum Bar on Saturday afternoon. While I was waiting for my buddy to get his rig and back down (about 15 minutes), I saw the bankies land one small chinook and lose one on the gravel bar.

perhaps I'll head that way this evening hmm, then again, maybe i should just go to Fry's, purchase a fishing video game and make this addication to fishing a thing of the past
