When organizing the almost-official “Salem” CCA Chapter, we attempted to contact everyone on the CCA membership list that we could find in “our” area. However, with CCA growing so rapidly in the Pacific NW, the Membership list is outdated the day it is sent out from National.

My apologies to anyone we missed calling or emailing about the forthcoming Salem CCA Chapter.

So, if you are a CCA Member, but are not affiliated with a Chapter, or have not been contacted by a Chapter, please do not hesitate to contact a Chapter nearest you, or the one of your choice. Make sure you are on their contact list. The official chapters for Oregon and Washington can be found at this link … http://www.ccapnw.org/chapters.html . A Eugene/Springfield Chapter is close at hand, and a Corvallis Chapter will begin forming in January.

The Salem CCA Chapter will bcome 'official', on Tuesday, Oct 16th at 7:00 pm, when the Board receives an orientation and organizational briefing from the Oregon CCA President, and Chapter Development Chair. The Salem Chapter has not yet set a regular meeting date, time or place, but will soon.

Anyone wishing to serve on the Salem CCA Board, and get in at the beginning, just let me know (a “PM” is fine).

If you are not able to serve on the Board, but want to be a Member who is kept in the loop about Salem CCA, just let me know.

Thanks!

... Ken Chambers, Secretary, Salem CCA

Keep me in the loop please!

Come on Willamette, North Santiam, South Santiam fishing people!:bigshock:
Your time is now to help with changes if you want to fish, and allow your kids, and grandkids to do the same.

Short note....... I fished the Alsea on the most peak day with a fishery, that has had much help.........one fish for 6 people:bigshock:

Fished the Yaq for the most of yesterday before the You da man tourny, and never had a bump on another peak time.

Very sad state of affairs, and everyone should wake up.

Get involved or stay home and watch fishing on ESPN
