Stopped in yesterday to check the fishing and crabbing out. Met a guy named Darrel who was cleaning fish (alot of fish). Was told he is the "Master of the bay." Anyone know this guy? He seemed to know how to fish it and was helpful with giving out info. Seems to me I read a few post about him sometime back. Maybe he is on this board???

Was he a big guy with a beard. Looks like and old sea captain? Is his name spelled DERAL. Hmmm, car dealer in Salem. Yes he is on the ifish board if its the same one i know. Yes he catches lots of fish. I beleave you may be talking about Cpt,Catchem. Very nice person and very good about sharing information.

I think the guy's last name is Jones and he's from Salem. Fishes at Nahalem all the time. I don't think he's on the board, but he catches fish all the time at Nehalem. Mostly at the jaws. follow him and you will be in the fish.

With regards to the singing....everyone on my boat says its ANYTHING BUT SINGING...sounds more like an animal caught in a trap..
