Yes, a boat down in Astoria--
Please read the story, by clicking here.

Out of respect for the family and to deter speculation on what could have been done differently, we are not going to discuss it until the real story is public.

We have closed many topics about it, today, trying to keep up with close friends and family requests. Please help us do
our job.

Thank you,
Jen

Re: BOAT DOWN IN ASTORIA (HEADLINER)

They have released the names of the persons involved on the news as Richard Cooper and Harold Cooper.
On Ifish, Coop, and the father was Freetofish.

We at ifish ask that you realize what this must be like for the family by showing a huge amount of respect.

Please, let's not go into the "shoulda woulda couldas" of the situation. There will be enough nightmares in the family without our speculation.

Perhaps we can learn by mistakes, but let's not hurt a family by doing so.

Sincerely sad,
Jen

My heart goes out to Coop. I can't imagine a worse disaster for him. My prayers go out for Freetofish and all his family and friends. As members of our Ifish family, I feel this tragedy deeply. I will have them in my thoughts as I launch my boat.

~Lost at sea these sailors they couldn't find their way
Asked The Lord to help them ~ teach them how to pray
They bowed their heads in silence looked out to the sea
Hoped the Lord would guide them as safely as could be
Waves just crashing endlessly rocking to and fro
Fear just filled their hearts they knew not where to go
They saw the face of God lighting up the waves
Showing them the passage and how they could be saved
They knew that they would make it to reach horizons bright
God led them to still waters and calmly filled their life
Hearts were filled with love and bursting with such pride
Found their way to heaven and God was on their side.~

I lost an Uncle to the sea when I was younger, my prayers are with the family.

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of those involved.

No one leaves you
When you live in their heart and mind
And no one dies
They just move to the other side
When we're gone
Watch the world simply carry on
We live on laughing and in no pain
We'll stay and be happy
With those who have loved us today

I've drank many a beer with Coop in my early days. Fished with him a couple years ago. In fact learned about ifish through him.

I never met this father but was on his boat once. We are all praying for you and your family.
