How often do you all clean and wax your boats, or what do you do to keep them looking good. I wash mine after every trip but it still takes a good waxing to make it look really good and that is a lot of work and I am lazy, as my wife would say, this is my first "real boat" a Alumaweld Intruder, my other boats have been flat bottom sleds and she wouldn't get in them. I have had it since last sept and want to keep it looking good, so how often and what do you all do

Thanks,
Bob

Jetsled1,

I keep mine in the water so I have to scrub it with a long handled brush at least once a week to get the algae growth off at and below the waterline.

The upper hull gets the usual water marks etc. so I'll wash that with a soft brush once a week also.

The algae and waterline still get me over time so twice a season (March and August) it gets a pressure wash on the hull and a mirror polish on the aluminum.

I have a 1/3 paint and that gets touched up (scratches and scrapes) once a year.

Key is staying on it so it doesn't build up or builds up slowly.
