Anybody fish Billy Chinook in late November? Like around Thanksgiving? Buddy and I are trying to find somewhere to fish while the wives are doing the "shop 'til you drop" thing the day after T-day. We're going to be staying at the Crooked River Ranch and will have my boat with us. Any ideas or tips greatly appreciated. :bowdown:

I would say either Prineville or Ochoco will get better results than Billy Chinook.

Troll for bull trout It should be great about now

Bull trout are hitting well up high on the crooked arm and should stay good. Very slow for kokes, but if your looking for them hit the deschutes arm troll deep off the pointwall were the 2 rivers merge.

Both the Kokanee and Bull trout fishing are decent at that time of year. Dress warm it is very cold in the morning and most important remember :alert: the Metolius arm of the lake is closed as of 10/31/2005. :noway:

I'm heading over to LBC this morning to work on my place over there. I always sneak a little fishing in between the projects. :laugh:
