You must have really set the hook.
<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helvetica">Set it I did! After I watched it literally inhale my offering! Hooked her about 2 inches back in the roof of her mouth.

Hospital Hole? Or Sand Bar?
<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helvetica">Neither. Wrong river  but it was close to a sand bar if that helps any

TheRogue, Actually I think this river is a bit smaller than the one you are thinking but maybe not. I have more pics of fish we have caught in the last month if people want to see them. Some of the fish were indeed "lined" but all fish were legally caught and hooked in the mouth some voluntarily some "force fed".

let me know if you want to see pics of our other fish.

Rather than taking up space and posting them if you would like to see the pics of our other catches this spring you can go to our site and take a look.

Jim, actually most of our trips were kinda last minute without much of a plan at all  work kept getting in the way of planning trips ahead of time.

Dad got to reel in a few  go take a look at our page.

Ill have dad give ya a call soon as we get a chance to plan another trip.

I was there this morning. Managed one native tiny jack (17" or so) that swam happily back to his brothers...6 fish on the bank by 8:30am when I had to scram.
