Started catching blue cats last year on a regular basis in the Upper Chesapeake. Moved here from IL a couple years back. Now I'm hooked on the things. They're invasive, big, and growing fast. Looking forward to the years ahead when trophy blues swim the bay.

No croakers, but I use spot for bait in the summer and fall. Been getting on some snakeheads too at one of my bait holes.

Man that is a cool looking fish.
They're a fun fight, have big teeth, and are hard to keep ahold of if they decide to shake.

They taste great too. The meat is similar in consistency to catfish with no "mud line" or fishy taste at all.
