We've been pretty quiet about this, wondering when, if... How? But damn it, here it is! No one has seen it on our side and we are anxiously waiting to see it ourselves! I Invite all my friends and family to watch it on Netflix September 21st. All 8 episodes will be available for viewing which is standard for Netflix. Anyway, check out Battlefish! And please share... We hope it's a good representation of our incredible fishery....

Thank you
Tailwalker

Dang, I don't have Netflix šŸ˜’šŸ˜ž

I don't even have a VCR or CD video player and I only have the most basic satellite service.
I would rather spend money on gas for fishing than watching TV

No internet at home, and just a regular HD TV.
I took a look at the link that was posted and it said that I need WiFi which I also don't have any access to.

Call me cheap but I have to manage my limited income very closely to make ends meet

Watched the first six episodes and it is a great show. Cool to see guys you fished against in the OTC, have been buddy boats with or drank a beer with at the ITC on screen.

Was eye opening to see a couple of the boats and the conditions they are in and actually float.

Some of the personalities are really cool dudes and some not so much. Some are just totally tools and can’t see them lasting if the show continues. It makes me more grateful for the guys I fish with.

I do hope they get picked up for more seasons and show more of the sporty run & gun style live bait/iron boats next season. Or add a sixpac boat so you can see newbies minds get blown.

Very cool show.

Watched a couple of episodes today and it lives up to the hype and trailers. Great show with fantastic footage, above water and below. It's one of the best fishing shows I've seen that shares with everyone just what it takes to be a tuna fisherman. Also nice that it's about albacore.

Don't miss this show, you will enjoy it!

My impression of the first episode;
I can see the good bad/guy drama starting. Commercial vs "Sport"; Salt of the Earth vs Rich Boys. I despise the way the the producers of these shows edit hundreds of hours of video down to 8 hours of manufactured drama. I like the way they highlight the different methods of fishing and fish handling.

Don't need to hear, over and over, guys cussing each other out, and I don't need to hear, over and over and over, that they need to make their money.

Other than that, interesting. Amazing that they can keep so many lines from being a perpetual tangle.

I only watched the first episode but found it like most reality shows being driven in the direction by editing for more drama. My wife was not a fan of the language being used, but I thought it was expected by those on the commercial boats. Bottom line I liked it, at least for now. What I didn't like was all the buffering my slow 6 meg connection created.

It's a little amusing to look for things like them talking about all the boats being at the corners, when the plotter shows them at the 127 37. Or, them trying to catch their first fish while the white board in the background shows 100+ fish counts for several days. It makes me wonder what kind of little things like that there are in a show like Wicked Tuna that non-locals don't catch on to. Overall, very fun to see some professional footage and production about my home port and some guys I know.
