I have seen people catching coho below canby ferry from the bank. Walk the trails down river.

 

Was it the north side of the ferry or the south, near Molalla river park?

 

Old boat ramp at the mouth of the Tualatin.

 

I looked at the satellite map of Willamette park and the mouth of the Tualatin river and don’t see an old boat ramp unless it’s hidden in the trees. I’ll probably try the dock at Willamette park and take a walk towards Tualatin mouth and see if I can find it. Thanks

 

I saw a few people fishing bobber and eggs + spinners off the dock at Willamette park today. The mentioned old boat ramp on the Tualatin is walking distance away from there and I have heard of people catching from the bank there. I tagged three Coho from the dock at cook park last year as well.

 

Cook Park on the Tualatin?!?! Seems odd if so.

 

It's just a short walk around the corner towards the river.

Put it this way, coho spawn in all the tribs and creeks wellll North of 26 year after year. Timing!

 

I went Willamette Park by the mouth of the Tualatin this morning. Lots of boats out this morning heading towards the falls, so I’m guessing the fish are making a pass. I didn’t see any action from the boat launch/dock section. Didn’t see anyone bank fishing the old boat launch this morning with the exception of a few boats out near the mouth. Moved over to the clack after an hour and same thing, lots of pikes/ Trout splashing around but no fish rolling or jumping. I’m sure they are in there though.

Anyone have any success above the falls this weekend?

 

I'd like to know if anyone sees them in Rock Creek. It runs through my yard and I've never seen any sign.
