Well....deer season is over so I am looking to hit the rivers soon, anyone doing any good (or bad) on the Yaquina this week?

I know its been pretty wet this week so did this shut the bobber bite off or ? Havent been over for a couple weeks and it was slow then so thought it may be worth a try this weekend. Thanks for any recent reports!

I would have to guess the rest of the run is way up the river by now. If it gets a little rain they really go fast on those little creeks.

The bay is brown and muddy this afternoon. I would guess that the fish have shot up into the rivers by now. :shrug:

I fished the Yaquina down at the LNG tank on wensday.Had five bites,hooked three.Only got one in the boat.Last year I fished it till December,always semed to be a few around.Its best about an hour befor high tide,wensday we did get our fish about an hour after high.Good luck,look out for crab pots,lost a nice fish on ones rope.
