I mostly had steelhead tackle till yesterday. Just bought a new rod and reel for salmon and would like to learn how to catch them on the N. Umpqua. If anyone is looking for a fishing buddy im self employed and have lots of free time. I have lots of steelhead friends but am looking to broaden my horrizons into the world of Salmon. I do have a drift boat but it seems the Jet Boats are a much more effective way to fish the N. Umpqua (Back bouncing eggs and shrimp) I5 bridge (Amacher Park area) I would be happy to pitch in on food and gas. Im 38 years old, easy going  born and raised in Oregon and live to fish  You can email me or call my cell (541) 606 0921. If you want to fish for steelhead I have the Mckenzie and Middle fork of the willamette (Dexter)pretty much wired. If there's fish  Still waiting on the big surge of summer steelies. Catching a few but can't say it's blowing up quite yet. David
