Has anyone been up to Bonneville Dam Sturgeon fishing? Dont want to know your spot, just the amount of people. Thanks.

Sure, I was up by the bird feeder on the bank. I saw 2 keepers caught and about 8 people fishing between 9am and 1pm.

Taking the boat out there costs less than fishing from the bank. Between snagged gear, the lack of fish caught, people who won't get out of the way when you have a fish on, and the fact that I already have to drive up there, I'm not bank fishing there again.

I know what you are talking about. That's one reason I haven't been up there in a year. Not having a boat makes it hard.

Besides, all the fish jumping (4-6') were out where I couldn't hang up from the bank. I'll go ahead and anchor out where the fish are from now on.

hey whats with sturgeon jumping out of the water... I had two small frys on the other day and the darn fish were jumping out of the water... one almost all the way out... was amazing..
