I have looked through the past posts regarding the topic of Fenwick’s customer service. It seems that folks have had all kinds of experiences with Fenwick from good to bad.
I just thought I would add my experience. I recently purchased an HMX Cross Scrim rod. 3rd trip out I broke it in 2 places on a nice Susitna River Chum Salmon. I called Fenwick and got the instructions needed to return it. I sent the rod along with my return address, a picture of the beautiful chum that shattered the rod and my check for $9.00. 2 weeks later I got my brand spankin new HMX rod with the newer handle and nicer wraps. I must say I couldn’t be happier.
