Or you take a more subtle approach like the OP and put a day later in your post than the actual deadline 😂. Got my AZ apps in a couple weeks ago, dont expect anything with only a couple points, but maybe sometime this decade! 🤞

I'm also proposing the new law that if you openly complain about out of state hunters in your state, you're not allowed to apply in others.

I've cut my applications back to just Oregon, Idaho, New Mexico, and the Utah antlerless draw. I used to apply in all western states (and a few east). Done with the point creep game. Will save that extra money from the other states for a guided hunt in Canada or maybe Alaska.

That's smart. For the points I need for some hunts, I'd be better off buying a hunt while I still have my health.

My kid is hunting WA and the youth tags and fees are still pretty cheap, so I get to get up to some of my old haunts with old friends (and get dirty looks for having Oregon plates).

Anyone know when's the spring bear seed number drawn?

This is my first year applying in Oregon as a NR. My wife and I burned 95 total resident points last year. I figured i would likely never hunt Oregon again. I decided to buy a license and apply to the easy to draw units my friends always hunt. If i draw tags in other states I can skip buying any tags I draw in Oregon and only be out the license and application fees. As a resident I hated that Oregon did not charge successful applicant credit cards like all other states do. Now that I no longer live there I am glad I will only have to pay the high NR tag prices if I have nothing better to do

They drew the seed number on Feb 15th last year. Am assuming will be same this year. So should be posted on ODFW website later tomorrow, I would assume.

The application numbers are up now.

Now am just trying to find the seed number on ODFW website. Am not seeing it on their Youtube channel.

Nothing for me in AK (Moose, Goat, Sheep, Bison)
