With the rain coming this weekend, what colors work with the limited light?

I am pretty new to fishing Alvins but when pulling plugs I have always had better luck switching to gold or especially copper in darker conditions. I think pearl and deep red or purple is also a good choice for darker conditions.

A friend has banged a few fish out there trolling them on the flood tide.

This morning I was actually thinking about fishing doubles again this weekend; a wobbler at the bottom and then sliding out a Maries shrimp scented K13 watermelon as the upper lure. Always worth trying something different if the standard things aren't producing.

I KNOW that Wrapped Kwikfish will do just as well as Alvins/Clancy's in the fall, in most cases.

I fished in a line recently below St. Helens got 2 lost 1 all on Kwikies!

Are you wrapping them with sardines or some other bait? How deep are you fishing them?

I'm fishin' 'em just like an Alvin. 5' dropper, 5 -6' 40# leader, 45 - 55' of water. Tuff line

Wrapped with Sardine. Maybe some anise...My girl friend says that the freshly wrapped ones are to stinky so they have to soak a while before a fish will bite 'em....
