Skunked again ont the Alsea... Hooked one, and lost it at the boat. Saw some guides with fish, and saw a couple caught. Most of em' are getting dark. We fished by Kozy Kove. I am about ready to give up on that river.

Thinking of hitting the Yaquina on Thursday.. Anyone know if the fish are above Toledo?

Yep, fish are above Toledo, but the catchin ain't so good. Sounds like you did better than me. I fish Sat and Sun for no hook ups. I saw two other fish landed on sat and none on sun. Didn't hear of too many others get caught. I guess the bobber guys were getting a few, but most were dark. Last weekend was great, however. We hooked 7 and landed 3 in two days of fishing. All fish landed and the other half that we didn't were all chrome. Just not sure what happened this weekend. I didn't feel so bad since no one else was catching. Good luck!

Never fished that high up! If you dont mind what kind of shape were they in? I think the bank would be a kick in the but, I may try it,
