We fished the Alsea on Saturday, the 27th, from dawn to 2:30 p.m. It was pretty slow. The river was 65 degrees and had a bloom of red/brown algae that made the visibility pretty low. We fished bobber and eggs/shrimp and only had four bobbers down for four fishers. Finished with two fish in the boat and one darker fish released. The bites came about an hour after low slack and during high slack. We did see a couple of fish caught by trollers.

Need some rain.
Need some cooler weather.
The Ducks need to do a little better next week.
