I managed to get off work about an hour early today, grabbed the family and headed out of Newport for a couple of hours of fishing. This one grabbed a hoochie on a downrigger set shallow at 35'. Weighed in at 27 lbs. Had its twin come off at the boat about 20 minutes later and released 3 native coho during the same time period. Nice ocean and a great dinner for us and three neighbors!

We were in about 140' of water, red/silver flasher trailing a hoochie behind it with a little go juice sprinkled on it.

Friends took the boat out today and in about 2 hours got 3 clipped cohos and a 33 lb nook fishing the same method and same hoochie pattern.

The Spoiled Daddy can catch fish even without the captain... SD

I'm lovin all these pictures of fish lately!

I've been stuck at my desk, and it sure helps the time to go by!

Thanks!
