We had four people on my granpa's 24' Seasport and the bite was on. We had a few fish in the box when the old red rod and reel began to screem. I was handed the rod. The line kept screeming off the reel so i started to crank. The fish came up then he dove on me; it went on like this for who knows how long. Finaly with the help of my Grandpa we lifted the rod and with a swift scoop of the net my Uncle bagged him. It was the biggest salmon i had ever had the pleasure of fighting. It was a 32lbs chinook. And to even my suprize i kissed the slimmy fish.
