Great job to everyone involved. Getting out and seeing God's creation is truly amazing. Not only what he show us but, the relationships and experiences we have while in creation. Congrats to Jessica on a great bull and the hunt of a lifetime.

Thats a great experience for everyone involved! Congrats to Jessica and the 20 others on the hunt :) . Seriously tho, thats awesome!
Lol! 27! :) Joking...it sure did make the pack job easy though! :excited:

Jessica and 6 others were there when she shot...and once we had the bull down, phones rang and 3 others came within minutes to be a part of the excitement...it was neat. Everyone's anticipation level's were getting high since this was the evening of day 3! :)

I have delayed on posting because reading this story and seeing all the volunteers, and love, reminded me of a quote that my Great Grandmother gave to me before she passed on and I wanted to find it to share:

There is a light in this world, a healing spirit
more powerful than any darkness we may encounter.
We sometime lose sight of this force
when there is suffering, and too much pain.
Then suddenly,
the spirit will emerge
through the lives of ordinary people who hear a call
and answer in extraordinary ways.

I for one would like to Say Great job Jessica!!! The smiles say it all. :meme::meme::meme:

I will love to watch it on DVD......!!!!

First off – congratulations to Jessica for successfully battling 4 years of cancer. You are obviously a very tough and courageous young woman. This also explains why you would choose an elk hunt in the Oregon coast range. This animal and this terrain requires tough hunters and you certainly meet the requirements.

Congratulations on a great elk - beautiful, dark antlers w/ extras - he is truly the “elk of a lifetime”. I know every time you look at those antlers on the wall it will bring fond memories of a great hunting experience with great friends.

Kudos to Outdoor Dream Foundation, Stimson, RMEF and the Faith in the Field guys that supported the hunt. This is what hunting is all about.

P.S. Those sunset pictures should be published in a magazine or on a hunting calendar.

Congrats to a very brave and courageous young lady. I know first hand what it's like to live with/around the cancer battle as my wife is fighting right now. You deserved this hunt and it is so cool that it was able to be filmed for you to show off to everyone back home.

A big thank you to all involved for helping this young lady. :applause:
