There were 45,884 chinook move over Bonneville yesterday. I am not sure, but I would guess that is a single day record.

Now I know why so many were caught in the lower river this week.

Went out after work Thursday and it was DEAD. Didnt seen anything caught around the Chinook Landing area for about 3 hours until the current slowed and the wind got the best of us. Anyone have any luck yesterday??

Details in tomorrow's paper, but Steve King said boats are averaging 2-3 fish each (maybe I should play that down a little)...
run is a new one-day record and the whole run will probably break last year's record.
coast has opened to three hatchery coho a day..
nets probably go in below longview for coho only on Monday...later in the week for chinook, but the netters have to be careful about how many they catch...
life is good...
