We trolled past each other over the pig. Counted 30 boats at one point during a lull. Archer bar short and the way back cedar plug were hot in the morning. Trolled swimbaits late morning and after a mid day dry spell were consistent. Everything on the troll. Seemed like they would come up into the troll spread for doubles and occasionally triples and back down. No takers on jigs or casting swimbaits. No jumpers and very few birds around. Lots of whales and big porpioses/dolphins? Ended the day with 21. Think we lost another five. Amazing ocean!

Headed to the area of Don G. #'s. Past through a good temp break about 3 miles short of the 125 line. Didn't have the color we were hoping for so moved on. Hopefully people found fish in it because a lot of the fleet pulled up. Ran next to Puffin for a bit the other side of the 125 until we couldn't take it any longer. Not much action or signs of life so turned north at about the 125 10. As the radio chatter didn't sound hopeful further west. Made as far north as about the 38 line and circled back inside. Summary: very scratch fishing. 7 fish in the boat and lost another 7. Mostly swimbaits bite. Heard late reports of fishing picking up north and inside of us and south of us. Go figure. Water never really did clean up for us. A few jumpers but no takers on drive by. Heard radio chatter of a marlin spotted north and inside of us.
