Tides matter, being on the water early matters. or if you dont like getting up esrly, fish in the evening. personally i always find the bite dying by mid day when the wind comes up.

Most mornings regardless of tide i plan to be where i want to be before day break.

Weeds were brutal from 5:30-8:30. Small wind came up around the tide change and at least pushed some of the weeds around to open up a fishable area.

Went 0/1, wanted to fish spinners but superbaits seemed to fish at least slightly longer before being weeded.

Weeds be dammed I’m going back Thursday

Anyone fish out of Gleason ramp? Weed report?

Decided to fish the incoming this evening. Started at the tail end of outgoing and weeds were non existent. Tide flipped and the weed pattys came in force. The water temp this evening on the garmin showed 73.4. Tons of marks, water temps just keeping them off the bite I guess.

On a side note, we did an evening plug run at meldrum for coho last night and saw 6 coho belly up floating down river, I assume from temperature stress.

2/2 RR bridge to Davis. Weeds sucked. We should have checked more often. Both fish, of course, came within a minute of deploying gear.
