I haven't been out yet but chomping at the bit. I see some reports of fish being caught here and there plus a couple over the fall as well.

Post up folks, let's see those smiley faces!

Water Fish Grey Salmon-like fish Seafood

Took the drift boat for a shake down trip with no expectations. Just had the motor tuned and serviced. Ran like a champ. Trolled herring behind a Dejavu SHORTBUS flasher. West Side Harbor troll in 23’ of water, 2 cranks off the bottom. Put in a good 5 hours and was about to call it a day….one more pass paid off! Will be at it again tomorrow with my “A” team crew.

Did not know there was a thread for Willamette Spring Salmon. I posted a thread earlier. Still learning how to use this forum. Anyhow, got one today around Fred's. 20 something feet of water. Off the bottom. Brad's cut plug, stuffed with chopped up herring. Did see another boat land a fish. Wet, COLD, and windy. But FUN way to get my very first Springer on my own. Getting my new to me boat dialed in. Can't wait for warmer weather :ROFLMAO:

Got lucky the first trip of the year. 5 minutes into the first drop, spent the afternoon looking for a second with no luck!

Fished Sellwood area from 1-3 today. Water came up and was colored up a bit. Had a few promising marks on the finder. No action.

Any water temp reports?
Not sure where temp is taken for passage report. Might compare to actual reading next time you go to see if it's a good source.https://www.dfw.state.or.us/fish/fish_counts/willamette/2023/2023%20Monthly%20Counts.pdf

Good to see a few fish being caught. Was anyone out there in the snow yesterday? We had an inch accumulated in Mulino between 7-8 am here. But…. It didn’t last long.
