A friend and I ran up to a snowy, frigid, and stunning day of winter fishing today. Splashed at 915am and hot dogged around for a few minutes before deploying the gear. We were one of 4 boats out there. The weather was a brisk 29 degrees, sunny, and glass for water with no sign of any wind all day.

There was some logs and debris fields to troll around and dodge when under power. There was also some frisky fish to play with.

Biggest of the day was an almost 16 inch rainbow. The rest of the keeper sized and up fish were some growing kokes. Biggest koke was 12 inches. We lost as many as we were landing. Setback was 150' or more with flat lined chrome and UV stickered dodgers with orange hoochies was the hot colors. We caught lot of little guys as well. Came home with 7 fish. Dinner is here. I love these clear, windless winter days! View attachment 1002115
