Can anybody tell me where the release for the tilt is on this motor? I see the cable underneath but can't find the release to raise the motor.
I'm embarrassed I know its right there.

Should be a little lever that captures a rod on the bracket I think its on the starboard side ... I could be wrong its been a long time ... Don't worry you'll find it ...:smile:

Shift it into forward gear, there is a rod that attaches to the reverse lock hook, sometimes they get out of position.

Are you sure it tilts. A friend had one about that yr w/no tilt or hydralics
just some to look for.

:laugh::laugh::laugh:Ahhhhhhhhhh your right............shift it into the forward gear and it will tilt up.
I've been scratching my head for a long time on this one.
