Arrowhead find...anybody know anything about it?

A buddy of mine found this point in our pasture a lil while back. We've found a few on the property over the years but never one like this before. Any amateur archaeologist on here ever seen one like this? I was looking on line but didnt find much. Thanks ahead of time for any input. The two photos are of each side of it.

I never thought of that. It could be. Crazy thing was my buddy actually found 2 of them with same shape and very similar in size the same day just layin on top of the ground. I let him keep one and he gave me the other.

Ive seen a few scrapers but never one with edges on both sides. Somethin tells me its an old, old, old arrowhead, but that's just a hunch.

I think you're right. Those points on that page look exactly like the ones my buddy found. If that's the case they are definitely older than most ive found around here. The more modern ones have a different shape it seems. Thanks for the link. That's exactly what i was looking for.

Looks like one of the original expandable broadheads that Rage copied.


Pretty cool for sure. Love finding arrow heads. My old time neighbor used to nap them and drop them on the Cascade trails once in once in while. 😅

Kennewick Man had a Cascade point embedded in his hip. The bone had healed over the point and had been in his hip for years before he died. Over 9,000 years ago he was one tough guy!
