Question Clipping nails

Back when I worked in a cube farm, I was that person who clipped their nails at their desk. I understand that this is considered poor form but I always made sure that the clippings landed in the handy garbage can in my cubicle.
I've been known to clip my nails on the front porch. Since I keep nail clippers all over the boat for snipping monofilament I often clip my nails whilst fishing.
I discussed it with my significant other and her input was that there's nothing inherently distasteful about nail clippings, it's the sound that bugs her.

Curious to hear from folks: where do you clip your nails?

In my cube at work, usually before people show up. Or on my front porch.

I have no servants, so do them myself. I clip them outside in the morning so when busy they file themselves. Anywhere outside is excellent.

If I notice my nails too long I bite them off. The critters under the nail fend off covid.

I go get manicures from cute girls.

Not really, I clip them watching tv usually. I never clip in front of people. I find no reason to.

Usually sitting in my recliner. Then I sweep them up unless the old woman offers to do so. She usually does since I can't seem to do it well enough to meet her standards.

I take the fingernails to the back porch. If the tear one while fixing a copier I grab my small wire cutters and, well, problem solved. Toes require sitting and I almost feel guilty about the flying debris ... almost.

Usually sitting on the bed after a shower. If the chunks are big, I’ll pick them up, if they’re small, the maid gets ‘em with the vacuum cleaner. I do it on the wife’s side of the bed most the time. Sometimes she’ll say, you been clipping your nails again..... Guess bare feet are sensitive to the little buggers.

Agree. Always bathroom next to the trash can.

I moved to a new cubicle at work one time, and when I opened the center drawer in the desk, the pencil tray was full of clippings. Disgusting.

Did they show signs of being chewed off or did they appear clean cut?

Outside, but man there are dudes that just make me gag with how long their nails are. I can’t even hardly stand it when a little bit of white show. I have clippers in the pocket at all times, along with chapstick

LOL! We work together. I’ve used the end of a fishing rod while in the boat.

I can't believe some of you folks bite your nails. I mean, you know where your hands have been and you're still putting them into your mouth. Blech.

I trim my fingernails after a shower when they're softer and drop straight into the waste basket. Toenails are another matter. I have to call in the farrier, who has the big tools necessary for that job.

Too funny! On my China trips I'd get foot massages. Feet go into a bowl of scalding water and a guy or gal comes around with a scalpel looking tool to trim up the nails. Then the pain and agony of thumbs being pushing deep into feet meat making you squirm and want to squeal. But damn it felt good later. A full bod massage helped too. Think the whole works was $3 or so.

I clip over the toilet. Not sure how I picked up that habit, but it makes reaching your toes a bit easier.

At my previous job I had a coworker who would clip her nails in her cubicle. If you do that you are a psychopath. No question.
