I stayed the night in Newport to see the hype on the "king tides" and awoke to seeing a truck pulling a weather buoy up towards agate beach this morning that apparently washed up overnight. I guess we will hear which one soon .

The waves are better looking on the incoming tide it appears and this morning they are crashing pretty good. Lots of full size sheep this morning with big breaks . Pretty neat to see.

Looks like I need king slew to assist on my photo rotation!
I don't know why it's so difficult to do photos on this site.... maybe it's just me

Stonewall banks buoy seems to still be there, although the data it's reporting is somewhat hinky. Still sending photos though.

I'm not surprised. We went to Depoe Saturday to see the show and the waves were massive. Saw a truck get absolutely DOUSED... on 101!

So - how do you fix sideways photos? I posted several this morning and everyone was sideways. I makes me hesitate to even post.

I've been turning your photos upright with IrfanView 64. It's a free program available online.

I think that this is a problem peculiar to the Ifish website along with the means that you're using to capture and post photos.

I use IrfanView for all my stuff and all I can say is, my photos are never sideways on Ifish...
Beyond that, I don't have a clue???

Thanks King !
Like grim it started upright in my phone album then loads side ways ... I may have to try the app you suggested.

Looks like one of the research buoys, maybe from the wave energy study area off the lighthouse.

Attached a pic of the Yaq bay bar from a few days ago. Jetty tips submerged in breaking waves, bar breaking all the way across.

My wife and I were commenting on the breaks also. Seemed like full waves coming over the North Jetty not just spray. I would guess some large boulders could have been displaced ! It would be intersting to see or hear if there was damage.

I have the Tapatalk app on my phone for looking at ifish and other forums I enjoy. Super simple to post photos from phone correctly oriented. Loading from my laptop is bit more involved. If I take my good camera out and have to upload and edit through them I usually just email them to myself and then save them to my photo album on iPhone. If you already know all this sorry for the short story. Just click on this:
Then select image:
Then post:
