Default Floor bubbles

After a tuna trip this past weekend, I was cleaning the boat and noticed two bubbles where the vinyl is separating from the marine plywood in my boat. Oddly enough they were both exactly where two ice filled kill bags were sitting for the entire day. Anyone ever have this happen and know of a fix for a bubbled floor?

Yup, that is where I was going to end up going with it.

Take a pin and poke a hole in it, had it happen to me, like stated above throw a bead of glue in there and call it good.

I can fix it no problem, but was wondering if anyone else has experienced this with ice filled kill bags sitting on the floor. When salmon fishing i normally have the kill bag on the offshore bracket, but when tuna fishing I have 4 kill bags in the boat.

I place my kill bags on the floor full of ice and fish when running to and from the tuna grounds. I do not have any issues with delamination of the vinyl floor. I have rubber floor mats on my back deck, so that may help.

I place one of my kill bags on my floor when tuna fishing and have not seen any impact from it..

Shrinkage from ice.

If the kill bags are insulated so well, why would they let enough cold through to mess up a floor?

Just curious as I am looking to purchase one.

I agree, but I know that the bubbles were not there prior to the trip and the bubbles are exactly where kill bags were sitting the entire day. I am going to do a glue injection this week and place the bags on rubber floor mats on the next trip.

Possibly the weight and grippiness of the kill bags "wiggling" in the swells and chop worked loose the bond between the vinyl and the wood?
