Default Fresh Tuna!!! Get your canning done!

Hey! This is Jennie posting for Kenny Bushnell aboard the fishing vessel, Willapa, which will be docked and selling fresh tuna this weekend, if you are interested.

This is the finest tuna!! you can buy, as I know he really takes good care of his fish.

You have to tell him ifish or the Salty dogs sent you, or I will be sad.
I'm kidding, but it would be great!

Anyhow, he is docked on the right, about half way down- at the last dock nearest the bay where all the commercials are. Stop by and see Dick's new boat, while you are at it! It's just two or three boats down.

Check out the Delenne. I want that one! it's for sale and it's so pretty!!! Red and white and... OK, Jennie... Stop....

Anyhow, last week it was 3.00 a pound for whole fish, and I think it would be the same this weekend, but since it's not my gig, I can't say yet. He's way out at sea, right now, so I can't get a hold of him.

I'll probably be there selling fish some of the time. I hope to see some of you, there! Stop by and introduce yourself and take home some tuna!!!!

Text him for more info at the number on the card, above. He'll answer once he gets in cell zone.

So, buy your tuna for canning, then just fish for fun!

Jen (feels weird to use another account!!!)

I'll bring some salty dog decals, and I think I have one salty dog flag for the first person who asks for it when down at the dock!

Yeah. Sorry! Garibaldi. At the last doc by the bay. By the red building. Look for the lights that are on.

Jennie, does Kenny cark the fish if requested and paid?

I have tried to cark but have not had much luck? And do you know of someone who would do the carking if Kenny does not?

Thank you
bill

Albacore are pretty easy to fillet. All you need is a sharp knife, a cutting board and Youtube is your friend.

Is this going to be a repeat for 8/16-17? I'd like to get a couple of fish. Will be in Netarts Friday/Saturday nights and would appreciate not needing to loin out my own, but open to alternatives

Well Kenny said he thought he had about 65 fish for Saturday and to get there early. He would be at the boat by 9:00. We arrived before 9 and a couple was already getting some. They were repeat customers and said they loved his fish. We ended up getting five, took them to the processor that he recommend and could not have been happier. Kenny takes very good care of his fish and is very proud of what he is doing. The fish are the best you could buy and the whole process was very quick, all about quality, excellent job cutting up the fish. We ended up with 36 Lbs. of loins and bellies. We have had tuna for every meal since Sunday, put up 42 half pints and vac. Packed enough for 12 meals. If anyone is looking for high quality fish I highly recommend him. He was sold out by 3pm. I would love to do business with him again.
